Intimate Okanagan Fall Wedding - Kaleden, BC

I have known Hailey and Ian for a few years now. When Hailey called me one random day, I thought she just wanted to chat on the phone. It turned out she asked me to photograph her wedding day and trust me when I say I didn't know what to reply because I was so excited when I heard that!

I was even more thrilled when Hailey and Ian told me about their wedding plans, which all took place in Penticton, British Columbia:
1st night - Celebration dinner, 2nd day - wine tour, 3rd day - WEDDING DAY, 4th morning - brunch; all with their close families and friends.
I mean who can say no to a wine tour to begin with?

Do I feel loved? I felt more like a part of their family.

I travelled down with some of their friends Sarah & Anita who I also know, but daue to unforeseen circumstances on the roads, we couldn't attend the pre and after wedding hangouts. The wine tour was amazing and it was a great chance to meet their families and friends before the wedding day! At the same time sharing amazing wine with everyone!

Here were the wineries we went to:
Monster Vineyards
Ruby Blues
Bench 1775

The next day, Ian was hanging out with his buddies and family while Hailey was over at her parents' place where she had friends over to spend the morning with. Ian then came over to Hailey's parents' where they both got ready and then headed to the ceremony location. A lot of things in the wedding were made by Hailey, her friends and dad, all which I was so amazed by. Hailey being a jewelry designer made her earrings and her dad handmade the insanely beautiful wooden backdrop! The entire wedding was a celebration with all the close and important people in their lives which I'm thankful to be a part of.
Well, enjoy the photos below!
